Our Review… It has certainly been a long wait for fans of the bestselling series, The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman to have book five in the series released. I think it was worth the wait and felt like a warm hug being back in the world of the Coopers Chase crew! It’s been a year since the gang have last solved a murder, with recovery from the events of the last mystery ensuring time to pause was in order. Our favourite seniors are back, with Ibrahim providing a therapeutic ear to help his wayward friend. While Joyce has been busy planning a wedding for her daughter Joanna who is a geriatric bride and has finally settled down. Elizabeth is in the throes of grief and Ron has far too many family dramas to keep him busy. At this wedding of the decade, a guest is in trouble, and the gang must snap back into action once again. Can the spirited seniors crack the case? With the signature wit and humour, the relatable characters and adventure, the Thursday Murder Club is such a brilliant series and will have you along for the ride right from the first page. So good!
